Email davis@davispeps.com for help. Include the device model, system version, Joker Hub version, selected device roles and the step where you need help. Share private scripts or recordings only if you choose to include them.

Private installation and setup

Approved testers can open the private Joker Hub setup guide and sign in with Apple. The guide shows their own instructions and any verified personal invitation supplied for their account. It does not replace Apple’s TestFlight invitation or bypass a TestFlight installation error. Watch companions are installed through TestFlight on the paired iPhone; they do not use a separate invitation.

Connect a camera or teleprompter

Open Joker Hub on each device, sign in with the same account and choose Control, Camera or Teleprompter in Settings. Keep helper devices in the app, enable nearby networking and allow Local Network access. On the control device, open a project and select the connected helper. For a USB-IP camera connection, enable Personal Hotspot on the iPhone, approve Trust/Allow and check that iPhone USB is active in the Mac’s Network settings. Hotspot availability depends on the carrier plan.

Use the Apple Watch remote

Install the Watch companion through Joker Hub in TestFlight on the paired iPhone. It requires watchOS 11 or later and an iPhone build that includes the companion. Open Joker Hub on the Watch and keep the paired iPhone in Joker Hub as Control, or as the camera selected by your Mac or iPad. Tap once to pause the prompter, twice to resume and three times to restart. Turn the Digital Crown to pause and scroll. The Watch does not sign in independently. If it cannot connect, use Refresh Watch connection in the iPhone’s Joker Hub account settings.

Recover an interrupted recording

Return to the original project and reconnect the same camera. Use Stop or recovery controls to collect the retained original. Finish recovery before changing accounts, roles or projects. Keep the original recording and its helper device available until collection succeeds.

Review automatic cuts

Choose Auto edit to transcribe the full original locally and find an ordered reading of your saved script. The latest build automatically measures background and speech levels for pause trimming; four remembered manual controls remain under Advanced. First use may need an internet connection and storage to download local speech models. Limited reference and transcript passages may be sent for online wording checks as explained in the privacy policy. If those checks cannot finish, the local edit remains available with flags to review. Preview the suggested sections, toggle keep/remove, trim edges and restore anything that should remain. Your manual choices are retained when you rerun analysis.

Save to Photos or Files

Select a destination at export. This device remembers the choice for your account. Use Change to select another destination; if a folder becomes unavailable, choose it again to restore access. The local rendered export is retained so you can retry saving. Check Photos permission in device settings if saving to Photos is denied.

Manage scripts, projects and your account

Scripts are saved to your Joker Hub account library; projects and videos stay on the control device. A project keeps the script you selected even if you later edit the library copy. Delete scripts or projects in their respective lists. To delete the account, open Settings, then Joker Hub account, and choose Delete Joker Hub account. Finish recording/recovery and imports first. Choose whether to keep video files on this device before confirming; cloud account data and this device’s copied script/project/review metadata are removed. Videos already exported to Photos or Files remain. Other devices can retain local copies, so remove them there if desired. Contact support for data-access requests or if deletion is unavailable. Read the Joker Hub Privacy Policy for cloud, local-storage and provider boundaries.

Beta availability

The landing page shows a TestFlight button only when a public Apple invitation has been verified. An uploaded or processing build does not make a public download available. If you already received a private invitation, install and send feedback through Apple’s TestFlight app.
