Scripts and videos
The app stores script drafts, project details, copied original recordings or imported videos, editing decisions, and exports in its local app storage. These files may be included in your Apple device backup if you have backups enabled. Keep Take does not create an account or upload scripts, audio, or videos to a developer-operated server. You choose when to share an export or save it to Photos.
Camera, microphone, speech, and Photos
Camera and microphone permission is requested for recording. Photo access is used when you import or save a video. For repeated-take suggestions, the app asks for Speech Recognition permission and requires Apple’s on-device English recognizer. If that recognizer is unavailable, the app offers silence cuts without sending audio to an online recognition service. Suggested cuts remain yours to review.
Subscriptions and TestFlight
Apple processes in-app subscriptions and purchase history. Keep Take checks the current entitlement through StoreKit and does not receive your payment card details. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings. If you install a beta through TestFlight, Apple separately handles beta installation, crash reports, usage information, and feedback under Apple’s TestFlight privacy terms.
Website hosting
Cloudflare hosts this website and processes ordinary connection information, including IP address and requested page, to serve and protect it. The iPhone app has no advertising or analytics SDK.
Retention and contact
Projects and scripts remain in local app storage until you delete them or remove the app, subject to any Apple device backups you maintain. If you email support, we receive the details you send and keep that correspondence as needed to answer you. Keep Take is not directed to children. We update this page if the policy changes.
